In Phase III, we begin to leverage industrial design heavily while refining all mechanical and electrical design components, preemptively setting the stage for productization. After receiving design approval, we move forward with a complete fabrication of an alpha unit.
This phase also covers non-destructive testing, performance evaluation, and field testing. After all testing is performed and data is analyzed, we deploy a short run of beta units at crucial sites to pave the way for mass production.
In Phase I, we assess the uniqueness of your product in the current marketplace and perform intellectual property research. Our team will also study market size and conditions while evaluating market share potential.
We will help develop your business plan, marketing plan, and define the status of your product or idea within the product development curve. Describing the development status of your product is imperative for the team at InTune to determine next steps, resource allocation, ROI analysis, and project management requirements. The pre-evaluation process concludes with the pilot unit kick-off.
In Phase II, we finalize the product concept design to determine the engineering viability of your product. We break up the product into smaller, more manageable sub-assemblies, which we meticulously analyze to assess challenges in design and overall interaction with the rest of the system. Sometimes, we find the critical elements of the product require additional research and development, as we see ourselves pushing the boundaries of technology.
Parallel to the pilot unit assembly, mathematical and statistical modeling takes place to ensure all sub-assemblies interact at optimum levels and are within parameters. After the pilot unit is complete, rigorous testing takes place for both the hardware and software components, resulting in a comprehensive "pilot report." This report is the first milestone towards building an alpha unit where the product begins to take its ultimate shape.
In this project milestone, we finalize any engineering design revisions for mass production, while creating manufacturing production definitions. We also establish lean manufacturing set ups within quality control standards. We evaluate both sub-assembly production and final assemblies to ensure the success of the trial run and launch of the manufacturing line.
